Pre-Development Meeting
Before you apply for permits, make sure you meet with City Staff. The Pre-application meeting is an important step to make certain that you have all of the required information and documents before you submit.
Neighborhood Meeting
If your site requires changes such as rezoning, a variance, or impacts the character of the neighborhood, you must hold a public meeting. Residents can learn about your plans, provide comments, and ask questions. These are important steps in gaining public approval.
City Council Meeting
City Council holds weekly meetings and reviews and approves development as part of its agenda. You will have to work with City staff to get on the agenda and you should be prepared to speak and respond to questions and comments from Council Members.
